I need to find the base frequencies for Elitch Gardens, Unable to find them on the internet, have tried to search them using Business Frequencies, with no luck. It would be helpful. I know that they may be on a trunked freq or on the upper frequencies.

Since you are from Fed Heights, would you happen to have the freqs for Water World?

I would also be interested in listening to that. I know that a lot of the Fire/EMS operations are done on Federal Heights Fire's channel though just from listening to them in the past, but I would be interested in listening to the rest of the park just for curiosity

This is what I had from last summer:

451.400 / 456.400 DCS 074
463.325 / 468.325 PL 210.7

I forget which was security. When I would take the kids to the parking lot to eat lunch I would play with my scanners - its not really cool to walk around with the signal stalker or close call running in the park :)

They must use a lot of UHF because our GMRS radios had a hell of a time in there.

I am going to try the above to see if they really work.

To give you feedback, *463.325 REPEATER is Security, I know there has to be more than 1 Channel, because I am always hearing others going to other channels when I am at work. It also carries a distictive tone when they push their mikes.

Maybe you can answer somthing for me. Is it possible that they could be using the 463.325 channel as a multi-channel frequency & since I have a pro-96 scanner, I would need to set the mode up in CT mode at 210.7. I was reading my owners manual this morning it states that in CTCSS mode in allows mutiply users to share a single radio frequency without each others transmissions. Can you tell me if this is possible. You seem to know more about radio tranmissions.

I typed in "Elitch" into the Search box at the top of every RR page and got these results:

Elitch Security

I used to work security at Elitches. Im not to sure of the freqs and which ones are which but theres about 9 channels that are used there threw out the day. Ride Ops, Water OPs, Security, Loss Prevention, Supervisor Channel, Dispatch channel, EMS, and a few more. I know security is on 5, and that gets shared with DPD officers when there in the park. If I can find my old radio card then I'll post all the different channels with the 10-codes, and signal codes.

I was in the park yesterday and I had my scanner on me, Unfortunately I didn't remember I had it till I was outside getting ready to leave. While I was outside I turned on my scanner and turned on the signal stalker, there was a couple of security guards a few feet from me and one of them was talking over the radio so my scanner immediately picked up the transmission. The frequency was one that I saw in the RR database (463.32500) so I can confirm that it is one of theirs, that appears to be their main dispatch channel, at times the dispatcher would ask a certain person to switch to Channel 4, however my batteries died and I was not able to follow them to their "Channel 4". I'll try to swing by again tonight or sometime this week and try to get their other security channels along with their "Ride Ops" "Water Park" "Food Service" frequencies and whatever else the signal stocker finds related to Elitch Gardens.

By the way the other channel posted on the database (451.40000) does not appear to be an active frequency, I tuned in on it and stayed on it for a while and heard absolutely nothing. I'll post a follow up on this if I get anything on it.

As for the frequencies that N0GTG found, I'll try all of them and see how many I get back as an Elitch Gardens freq.

Found Elitch Gardens Frequencies!

If anyone is still interested, here are all the active frequencies used by Elitch Gardens staff, I have confirmed all these frequencies and I got the information on what channels they are on their radios and what they are used for all thanks to a friend who works as a security guard there.

I have submitted all these frequencies in to be posted in the database, now it's just up to greenthumb to review them and post them.

451.40000 - This channel is already in the database but not listed as to what channel it is, This is their (Channel 8).

463.32500 - This channel is also in the database but not listed as what channel it is, This is the Security channel (Channel 5), Denver Police also uses this channel when they are in the park.

462.03750 - This is their Channel 3

464.81250 - This is their Channel 10

468.32500 - This is another Security Channel (Channel 1), This channel is not shared with Denver Police.

464.71250 - This is the food services channel (Channel 6), it is used by food crew and food service managers.

468.41250 - This is their Channel 7, which is used only by managers.

463.41250 - Unsure what channel this is but is active

464.21250 - This is their Channel 4, This channel is used mostly by security for relaying important information and details that they do not want everyone throughout the park to hear.

I'm unsure what these channels are used for but they are VERY active channels throughout the day, is seems like they may be water park security, lifeguard and park maintenance channels.

464.01250

467.03750

464.96250

456.40000

464.31260

464.61250

Once again I have confirmed all of these channels and they ARE all active.

If anyone has the 10 Codes and Signals they use please post them up, it would be interesting to know what is going on when they use those.
