I had a look into these files today.

In the group file, I had a group logged not part of my local P25 system list.
Code:
P25, 0, 4104, 50, Normal, 0, 0000/00/00 0:00, ""

In my radios file, I found 2 logged entries, again, not within my local P25 system list. One was from another network?
Code:
P25, 0, 4104, 4123038, 50, Normal, 0, 2025/01/30 20:54, ""
   ;;
P25, BEE00.4F8, -2, 344768, 50, Normal, 0, 0000/00/00 0:00, ""

Curiously asking what these would suggest? Are they simply likely errors? I have my DSD+ monitoring set up to only listen to the one local P25 network, so my system files are only populated by that system.

P25, 0 I think is either going to be bad decode (didn't pick up WACN/SID) or a P25 conventional freq

P25, BEE00.4F8, -2 : the -2 I think designates that it registered to the system but hasn't affiliated with a talkgroup (no voice comms)

Sometimes you will get the TGID of "0" if the control channel jumps to an active talkgroup when you are starting the program before the system ID is seen. You nay already have an active group on that 4F8 system but since there was no system ID yet seen, it shows as 0 for that parameter.

The accuracy of the data is affected by the quality of the signal coming in. It is not uncommon for me to get inaccurate talkgroups and/or radios with more distant systems.
I consider it a confirmation on these lower quality decodes if I get voice on a questionable radio or group. I am also fortunate in that the system I primarily monitor has a system for numbering groups and radios so that helps me as well.

Thank you, appreciate you all sharing your knowledge and experience.
I was thrown off with the second radio discovery as BEE00.4F8 isn't the network I am monitoring. (BEE00.973)

973 and 4F8 are very close together. Very possible if ppm was off it may have picked something up off 4F8. Or if you were clicking signals in FMP24, you could have clicked one of the voice freqs from 4F8.

You can increase your logging in the console/event log to display freq/nac received.

Open your dsdplus.event and try searching 4F8 or 344768

Also try searching 4F1 as that's the site nac that might be displayed in the event file.

If you don't see freq/nac etc (in general) in your event file, just enable it.

I don't know anything about the two SYSIDs you mention, but if they are nearby to each other, they could be linked by ISSI.

ISSI is used on several systems around me. When a radio from a neighbor that is ISSI linked, DSDPlus will show the home system ID and radio ID before it shows the ISSI temp RID. Therefore, my RADIOS file has a large number of RIDs from systems I do not monitor

This is copied from BEE00.3A9 Event log. It is a BEE00.9EF radio linking via ISSI to 3A9 then being giving a temporary UID
2025/02/01 21:30:10 Freq=774.531250 NAC=3A8 Registration; 9EF:1481045 ACCEPT
2025/02/01 21:30:10 Freq=774.531250 NAC=3A8 Affiliation; RID=16776712 ACCEPT

The two are pretty close.
