Anyone within ear-shot of Madison Co that can check the CTCSS tone on the 155.070 Fire Disp freq? The DB shows a PL of 203.5, but I'm receiving 118.8. I just want to make sure I'm receiving it correctly before I submit a change. From my experience PL tones rarely change.

FYI, I've had a few solid dispatch hits on 155.070 & I'm not getting ANY PL on their signal.

I'm logging 155.0-156.0 in ProScan and getting PLs on other frequencies:

Lifeline - 155.16 (PL 192.8)
Hancock County Fire - 155.82 (PL 203.5)
Hancock County EMA - 155.88 (PL 100.0)

I'll leave it running for a while to see if anything changes.

Maybe they use different PL tones, for different paging towers in different areas of the county. I just heard a call for the northwest area of the county, with that 118.8 PL tone.

Might be the case, I logged 87 transmissions from Fishers and none of them had a PL. Good luck with the hunt!

I programmed a scanner with the 203.5 PL in the DB, and it showed signal, but wouldn't pass the audio. I put it in PL search, and it hit on 118.8 again and passed the audio.

It looks like they may transmit from 5 towers throughout the county. So far I've only heard calls for the northern part of the county using the 118.8 tone. Since I'm northeast of Madison county I'm probably hearing the Alexandria tower.

Ok, got WS scanners back from repair shop last week. Rapping my mind around the ins&outs of DMR Trk & Conv radio. So for some preliminary data. Using TRX2 feeding DSD+ from ear phone out (PC IF turned on).
