Terry Thompson of Zanesville Ohio has been found dead in his front yard.
All of his wild animals were let loose and are running around. Lions and Bears were part of the 48 animals that are missing. Helicopter with heat sensors are looking for them. Lots of local police etc, as well as the Columbus Zoo and the Wildes are helping to find these animals before someone is hurt.
I live in Morgan co. about 45 minutes as the crow flies from Zanesville. Daughter alerted me to this story about 11pm so I turned on my pro96. not hearing much at this point but will keep my scanner on through the night.
All of the reports for the last hour or so have turned out to be deer or dogs, and the MCSO seems to have drawn down the number of deputies out searching quite a bit. The Licking County SO just got a report of another "sighting," though.
