I was trying to rearrange some channels on my Pro 96. I used the Win96 software. Downloaded all the frequencies for Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Then upload to scanner. Turn on scanner and hear nothing at all. I live in the county and had no problem before listening. I can look on scanner and see the download to it wored and see the frequencies. Did The county change something and now radio reference needs to update? Is it something I did? Any help would be great. I do see that radio reference shows 12 frequencies available on there website up when done on win96 it only downloads the control frequencies which are 4 and not all 12? Looking for answers..

Pro-96 will not decode Anne Arundel's new system and its p25 phase 2 (TDMA) audio codec. You will need to upgrade to a SDS100/200 as the new system is densely simulcast.

When did the switch over happen in AA county? I just listened to it not to long ago, maybe a month or two if I remember correctly, and that was the old programming in the scanner I had for years.

They switched sometime last spring 2024 must have a long time ago thar you were monitoring Anne Arundel on PRO-96.

There is a lengthy tread in the Maryland Forum about the upgrade.
