Another West Texas fatality

One person was killed and another seriouslly injured in a one vehicle rollover south of Kermit in Winkler Co. early Friday morning.

No information was immediately available on the fatality victim. A 26 year old male patient was transported via CareStar helicopter to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. He was listed in stable condition. The accident occured about 18 miles south of Kermit on Texas Hwy 18, the road between Monahans and Kermit.

As reported previously, one person was killed in a single vehicle rollover near Kermit Friday morning. The vehicle was well-service unit based out of Monahans. The rig was returning to Monahans and was about 3 miles south of Kermit on Texas Hwy 18 when the rollover occured. The driver was killed and three others were injured. One of the injured was taken to Medical Center Hospital in critical but stable condition. The other two were undergoing treatment at Winkler Memorial Hospital in Kermit at last report.
