I'm not sure if this has been covered or not. I did a search but couldn't find anything. On the other hand this might be a case of RTFM on my part. Either way, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction with this issue.

Anyways, I programmed STARS into my Pro-96 a while ago and have had it working fine. However, recently I decided to reorganize some things in my scanner and took a crack at adding more talk groups to the bank I have STARS in. When I try and add, for example, talkgroup 3212 in Win96 I get an error saying that this particular ID is out of range. Does anyone know why this is happening or if this is normal?

I am using version 1.59 of Win96 and have loaded the Extended Tables stuff per instructions that I've found on RR. I can provide more information if needed.

Thanks!

If you're in STARS bank, any number from 1 through 65535 is valid. If programming manually, you need to use PGM>TRUNK and navigate to unused slot to make the 3212 entry.
