Back in my BSA days, we used semaphor flags to communicate!

You have no idea how good you had it. When I was in the BSA, we used smoke signals to communicate with each other. The bad part was the fire department kept eavesdropping on our communications, and showing up with their pumper trucks. It took forever to rub two sticks together to start another fire just so you could reply, or ask the other camp to repeat the message. :cool:
