Does anyone know if they are using just the one freq.? I remember there were a few on the vhf that were possibles.
Manny
All low band equipment is removed from Ansonia. They are on the new vhf freq.
I take it that the equipment went to the dealer as like a trade in? I used to love it when departments offered their old gear at auction. CSP's old radios actually were getting sold out of the state store at wethersfield DMV till it changed over to private. Man do I miss those days
Joe
Hows it been sounding the last couple of days?
Well, I'll tell you what, the clarity of the signal is great. The audio output is an issue! From a monitoring standpoint, you have to crank the receiver volume almost all the way up just to barely hear audio. That should not be. Something is wrong in the audio going out on the output of the repeater.
Manny
That's the case it seems with almost every narrow high band frequency.
Try listening to Southbury fire or Newtown fire/police for example...[/QUOTE
I see what you mean. Seymour is doing the same thing but still better audio than Ansonia. Not for Anything but their 39.98 signal was AWESOME. I guess we're stuck with what we have.
