Antenex Base/Fixed antennas

For my spring/summer project this year I'm looking at upgrading my antenna(s). Is anybody using Antenex Base/fixed antennas, if so how are they? They carry a heavy price tag but if they perform well, it's worth it to me.

Looking at primarly VHF and UHF omni models.

I have several of them in various bands. VHF, 800, 460, 480, 900, etc.

Both omni and yagis.

They perform well.

I got most of mine off of ebay over the past few years, and never paid list price.

Most I bought between $9 and $50 NEW in box.

If you have patience, you will find some deals.

They are cheap compared to "real" base antennas like Comtelco and sinclair.
