In many threads about running coax to antennas, some of us will usually mention "be sure to properly ground things" without going into a whole lot of details. We may even mention that the National Electrical Code (NEC) requires it for all homes and businesses within the United States.

I found an excellent "white paper" on this subject written by Whitham D. Reeve and have attached it to this thread. The original document was found at this URL:


The document is easily understood by all because of Reeve's writing style. Additionally, on 10 of the 14 pages are detailed illustrations and/or photographs to complement the material being read as well as references to specific paragraphs of the NEC.
