I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have a PRO 92,95 and 96. It seems that from changing the antenna frequently, the antenna connection becomes loose. I often change from the rubber duck antenna to a roof mount antenna on my house and use it as a base station. Any type of quick connect or something that would avoid turning the antenna to remove it?

More Detail?

What do you mean by loose? Does the antenna wobble? Or is the bnc connector attached to the radio itself loose?

That is a bummer! Have you peeked inside to see if maybe it can be tightened?

As far as a quick connect, they do have a 90 degree elbow adapter at the shack.

Yes, but if you use the elbow connector, you lose a bit of signal...probably not a big deal on VHF-UHf might be a killer on 800 mhz!!!

If you use a quality elbow you will lose no more signal than any other adapter.
