Hey guys, I’m running a Whistler TRX-1, and soon I’ll have a roof antenna up on the house. This will be hard-wired into my basement where I have a little room set up with scanner, ham radio, etc.
I’m looking for a nice portable antenna I can hook to my TRX-1 when I’m just hanging out in the living room and want to increase redemption over the stock duck. The diamond that was recommended to me to mount on the scanner made almost no improvement over the stock antenna, so I’m thinking something with a wire that I can move around a small amount, put near a window, etc.
Any ideas would be great. Thanks!
