Antenna for my R20

Dear all please advise for antenna to my R20
what about the ICOM AH8000 ?
or radio shack discone ?

is it problem to connect those antennas to handled device?
any ideas for home made antennas?

one more thing what is recommend as a handled antenna to my R20?

The Icom IC-R20 is extremely sensitive! Connecting it to a large outside antenna will most likely overload it.

Is there a particular band your trying to improve reception on?
