Antenna Mast Deck-Mount Idea: Opinions Needed

I ended up attaching the mast (10 feet of 1-inch galvanized pipe) to the 4x4 corner post of the deck with two large screw-type hose clamps. It seems to be quite secure and has held up well so far.
