antenna mount

I just purchased a Centerfire Antenna and need to some advice on where and how to mount it to my house,I have a youtube video for all to see

It would help if we knew what frequencies and type (beam, vertical, etc) the antenna was designed for.

VHF/UHF Multi Band – Centerfire Antenna Mfg Co
I believe it is a vertical antenna and my house has vinyl siding,and I the south Dakota radio system and county frequencies are what i want to pull in

Centerfire: a glorified ground plane antenna.
Should be mounted to a mast and the antenna elements should be at least 3 feet away from any other metal objects. Ideally above the roof line.

Be sure to weather proof the coax cable/PL259 connector on the antenna.

You will need to use a ground mounted mast fastened to the eave with a standoff and clamp. :wink:

I have this same, or similar antenna. If you clamp this to a metal pole, will that effect the function of the antenna or is that part isolated from the rest?
