antenna recommendations for a yaesu vx-6

can anyone recommend an antenna for a yaesu vx-6 ht other than a diamond srh77ca antenna.
the stock antenna is not the greatest and the diamond srh77ca is just too long when carrying the ht.

I picked up the Maldol MH-209SMA for my VX-6R.
It's a great little antenna for 2M & 70CM.

I don't care how long the srh77ca is, I'm hitting repeaters 25 miles away with my VX-7R on 5 watts. I thought it was IMPOSSIBLE.

If you want small though, the Maldol MH-209SMA as has been suggested is OK. Does not perform as well as the SRH77CA though.

i have the SRH77CA and i agree it is probably the best antenna. i want something in between the two.

I'm getting excellent results with the Comet SMA-3 on my VX-170, it's a huge improvement over the stock antenna. I've never used it in the 70 cm range, but on my 396 it picks up 800 just as good as the RS 800.
