Anyone know where I can still purchase this antenna? I believe the company is out of business. I notice that my local news crews use this antenna on their vans. This all band antenna has been the best performing antenna I have ever had. It is either a Mon. 31 or 51 all band scanning antenna with a centerloaded piece in the middle.

I share your pain :(

I too have owned a few of the old MON Series antennas. They blow away anything I've ever owned from a wide-band perspective. The famed Austin Spectra, which close, is not as good on low band. The MON antenna with that metal tube in the middle (A/S called it an "800MHz Micro-Choke" or something like that) really helped pull in those trunking signals. There ARE better low band, high band and 800MHz trunking antennas - but none out there right now does it all like the old MON Series.

I have also been scouring the web for ANY of these. I saw one last month on ebay, got off the site, thought about for a few days, went back and it was sold.

I think you're only shot is to just scour places like ebay and/or craigslist. That's what I'm going to keep doing....good luck!

Technically they can ask pretty much whatever they want. You're talking about PREMIUM scanner antennas the likes which have not been duplicated since. Currently not replaceable.

I have an old ChannelMaster Monitenna 5094A. This was THE scanner antenna to have years ago. I'd be hard pressed to part with it if someone paid me $500 for it!

I know what you mean as that's the secondary market.
I too used to have a Channel Master probably 2 of them before the wind damaged them. The prices on those have gone up since they are discontinued.
Now I use the Scantantenna.
