Ok here is my scenerio: I have 2 radios both 2 mters/VHF : Motorola and ICOM (both sitting on same desk)

Let me say from the onset I appoligize if this is a double post but I did not see any question simular to this one.

I have 2 Antenna both with low loss feed lines: A 144 Mhz/VHF beam and a Mulitband Discone. By default my ICOM is hooked to the beam and the Motorola Is hooked to the Discone. But here is my problem......................

Sometimes i want the motorola on the beam and the ICOM on the discone, How can I do this without acutally shutting down the radios disconnting the COAX and the reconnecting? I looked for a antenna switch on the internet but the only one that would do anything like this only goes up to 6 meters. If you can provide a link would also be helpfull.

Keep in mind I want to use either radio with either antenna at anytime just by flipping a switch.

Thanks in advanced

Correct me if I am wrong> Almost but still will not work. This configuration I can operate both radios with either antenna at one at a time, However I want to use BOTH radios at the same time, (NOT Transmitting though)

You are correct. In the above switch configuration, you could only use one radio at a time on either antenna.

Do you ever plan to transmit? If not, perhaps a receiver multicoupler is the answer.

If you intend to transmit, you could do something like this:

Thanks, K8PBX. Yes that would work you finally figured it out I couldn't. I also posted this on Eham.net no one their got it yet. Anyhow after seeing I would need 6 coax jumpers and 4 switches I am considering doing extra antenna instead, which is a great idea. MFJ makes a nice 2 meter beam for 60 bucks consider the switch is 30 bucks, not much more to go with more antenna's. So then I would have 2 antenna's Per radio. Also great for ARES/RACES stuff I can bring in 2 more rigs form my mobile and have 2 dedicated VHF stations and 2 Dedicated UHF stations. Lots of Ideas just depends on how much money I want to spend BTW: If I put 2 beam antenna on the same mast I can use the same rotator.

I'll let you know what the end results are.

There is a type of RF relay called a transfer switch, it's a 4 port device, that will do exactly what you want. They occasionally show up on ebay.
