As I was driving around the neighborhood and looking at how some of the neighbors have tv and other antennas mounted on their houses I came across a roof mounted tripod tower. The tower looked to be about 8 to 10 foot above the tripod and was a single antenna mount.
It looked to be about a 3 to 5 foot tripod with a pretty standard tubular style top section. I didn't think to get a picture or 2 of it but I can go back if I'm not explaining it well enough.
My question is after coming home and doing searches for something that looks like it I came up with nothing but plain 3 or 5 foot roof top tripods. What is this type of tripod with a tower called and where can I find them online? What is the asking price for something like this? It looks like a pretty nice and quick set up to add another 10 foot section of mast to and get some good height from a 2 1/2 story home.
