Hello, I was wondering what i could get. I have a pro 106 mobile scanner and would like more distance from my house. Is thier a good antenna that i could easily mount on roof? and is it gonna give me alot more distance than the 800mhz mobile antenna?

I have great luck in and out of the car with the Radio Shack 800mhz ducky on my 106 never had luck with a roof mount for 800 mhz car or house
