There are plenty of solar/battery options. Find one with enough capacity to power the amplifier of your choice through several days of inclement weather.

I've heard horror stories about solar panels and their charge circuits that spew out a high level of interferencies in radio frequency bands. Be aware of it as the solar equipment will sit next to the antenna.

Maybe you can use a radio remote controlled switch, or WiFi, to switch off the solarpanel and the charge circuit to run only from battery when you do your monitoring.

And distance between the solar charge controller and the antenna is probably a good thing as well.

You could make your own solar preamp setup. A really good preamp might draw up to 150ma at 12v and that would be 3.6AH for 24hrs. A battery in the 12-15AH range should be ok and there are plenty of solar chargers that are quiet. A 50 to 60 watt solar panel should keep things going indefinitely unless your in Alaska.

Put the preamp and hopefully preselector filters in a plastic NEMA box on the tower with the battery and solar charger. I would make sure the battery is sealed and does not vent any corrosive gasses inside the box.
