Antennas on A Honda...

has anyone had any experiacne with mounting an antenna (for uhf/vhf and another for cb) on a Honda Element...i'm not sure i want to drill, but a trunk or hood lip would work. Does anyone have any advice on what i should do, especially an Element, or anything similar?

My solution for that is to first uninstall the Honda, then start looking for a suitable antenna mounting location made of steel, such as a VW or a Chevy Impala. However, if you insist on using the Honda you may want to consider using a L bracket on the hood for the CB and drilling a hole in the roof for V/UHF. Be sure to run a ground strap to any hinged sections of the vehical such as doors and hoods since a lot of these cars use plastic spacers in the hinges.
