I recently programmed Las Cruces Site 1 into a Uniden BCD325P2. An ID Search on this EDACS System reveals over a dozen Talkgroups that aren't documented in the Database.

Talkgroup 04-030 is frequently on the air, and also appears to be broadcast on a conventional frequency, 151.310 ("Sheriff Ch 3 North").

I've heard calls that reference locations in Anthony and Chaparral, which initially suggested County Sheriff, but I now suspect this Talkgroup belongs to the Anthony, NM Police Department.

Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks.

"Sheriff Ch 3 North"

Apparently, I needed to collect just a bit more data on this.

Just before midnight on March 13, I heard "Attention all DASO units: Per State Police, we can break off." DASO was at the scene after a fire forced evacuation of residences on Boyer Rd in Vado.

The first-person reference in this call leads me to conclude 04-030 is indeed DASO, not Anthony PD as I conjectured, though the "North" designation in the name is a bit ironic given the location of the calls.

The VHF channels are patched to edacs talk groups.
Some of the channel in the database are depreciated, some are changed.

As i catch them, i update them. I recently submitted changes on the LCPD system, and now i'm working on mapping out what is patched to what on the DASO VHF and their group of talkgroups which are in the 530 range (HEX). I want to concentrate on the EDACS system updates first, and then i'll update VHF.

536/04-030 IS in the area feed. The correct alpha tag is DASO 3.

* this will be a moot point in a few months when county switches to DTRS, but i'm working on it in the meantime.
