Any digital scanner users in the Florida panhandle?

I was just wondering beside me and my buddy Taloniilm, are there any other digital scanner users in the Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Escambia Florida area. I’ve been monitoring this area for many years now and I have met a few others online who also monitor the area. Just curious on digital users.

I am in south Santa Rosa County near Gulf Breeze. I use the Radio Shack Pro-96 and the GRE-500 for monitoring digital transmissions.

Glad to see were not alone. How do you like the 500? Have you tried it on any of the P25 stuff yet in Pensacola?

We travel down there from the Birmingham area several times a year. Not a regular in your area by any stretch. But while there, we do listen to the Pensacola system. Sounds great. 'can't wait to get there again with the upgrades in my 396T. We probably won't make the air show next weekend.

Hello Dan, good to meet you. The only digital systems I listen to currently are the 380 MHz Air force bases that are P25. The 500 does a very good job decoding and I am happy with the digital performance. I like to monitor federal stuff along with the local public safety (Santa Rosa County) including the Coast Guard.
If you have any good federal frequencies, please feel free to send them to me through Private Mail. Besides the Federal stuff in Pensacola, who else is using P25?

Dan, I don't believe that anyone uses a true ditigal system in our area, except perhaps a federal agency?

My family and I come down to Panama City Beach for a week each year. I bring my trusty PRO-96 and PSR-500 along. We also head over to Destin during that time to hit the outlet mall.

IIRC, the trunked system at Tyndall AFB is P-25 digital.

I was introduced to scanning in Pensacola about 30 years a go...yikes, has it been that long?! I get back there about once a year now. I'd be interested in listening to a live feed if anybody's ever thought about it.
