Manatee needs to get on Broadcastify like Sarasota. Im sure they will in the future.
Very few departments provide an official feed. Most feeds are provided by other scanner hobbyists who are willing to dedicate a scanner and a portion of their internet connection to sourcing the feed. There's zero guarantee Manatee or anyone else in reception range will ever bother with the hassle and expense of sourcing a feed to your liking. If you're not happy with the available feeds, get your own scanner instead of whining about random strangers not giving you free services.

Not Whining just info. I have tons of Ham radio gear and use to have 5 scanners but don't need a digital scanner that bad.

What I quoted was definitely whining. You have no right to decide anyone else "needs" to do anything for your convenience.

Its just a matter of time and why should I have to buy a scanner. Save my money for music gear.

Maybe you have to work for what you want instead of relying on someone to put up a feed for you to use for free. Not to mention a feed that tends to lead to agencies encrypting. People need to stop going the lazy rout and buy a scanner then learn to program it.

since i live in charlotte county i have no simulcast problem.
the OP mentioned sarasota being on broadcastify, yes someone is providing it, not the county itself.
they are on the same system so that someone does not provide manatee.
in my county they use tac channels for some additional information to each other and boy do you get an earful.
on broadcastify you will never hear any of that. you would if you had a radio.

While on vacation in Sarasota County last year, I had no problems picking up the new system with my 436HP.

Who sells a good easy to program digital scanner to listen to Manatee county P25 signals??????
I have used many scanners over the years and programmed them with software too. Just wonder what is out there now.
I use to have the iScan handheld scanner and it work fine for manatee county till they went digital. I did use a radio shack digital base for Sarasota but sold it.

Like to have something easy to program.
Its just a matter of time and why should I have to buy a scanner. Save my money for music gear.

Then why would you ask people to take the time to make scanner recommendations for you? Makes no sense.

I am in Sarasota and have 5 Unication Radios that I monitor Manatee and SRQ and have never found any place that didn't get the signal. I would suggest Ray's Pager Sales at 717-859-2021 or Rnkz@att.net and ask for Ray. They are great to work with.
Ed.
You are seriously in need of intervention (lol.)

For everyone in the banter back and forth above > That's enough. If you feel as though an insult needs to be part of your reply, just delete your words/post and move along.
