I have the feeling you are overthinking this. Unless you have a real crappy antenna a transmatch ('antenna tuner' it isn't) is not a real necessity so that can be dropped. Be a lot more specific about what you are doing; what radio(s) you are using (or is it a SDR?) and ;why the LP filter (unless you are dealing with some MW or FM issues, it too isn't necessary). And why a triplexer, which most listening only setups would never need? Details! Mike

to be honest Im farely new to radio. was given cb radio and already owned a FRG-7. other bits and pieces given also. the low pass filter works awesome to block out interference. i will use triplexer to use the 1 antenna i have for both cb and frg7. thankyou for response

To be honest I've never used a triplexer for any reason. Is the LP filter for use on the CB or on the FRG7?

You'd really be MUCH safer not using the same antenna for both CB and the FRG7. Besides a CB antenna is optimized to work well there, and performance will decrease as you go outside that band. You have put up a CB antenna, that suggests you can put something up separately for the FRG7. If you're squeezed for space, a loop will cover everything the FRG7 will (I had one of those for many years). What are you using your FRG7 to listen to? Mike

im using a cheap loop antenna from aliexpress for frg and a home made half wave made from coax for cb. swr 1.5 channel 1 channel 40 1.8

Just looking real quick at triplexers on this side of the pond, every one that I saw were for ham frequencies or included the 27 Mhz band (assuming that's what you are using as CB) in their 'HF' coverage. It might be a tough nut to crack to separate out CB from their HF coverage on a given port. Using different antennas looks like the way to go

You wouldn't be using a MLA30 are you? If so there's a fairly active FB group that discusses how to improve this popular little loop...

If you had the space and needed a 2nd antenna for the FRG7, a PAR EF-SWL is an excellent choice.

I would just rig up a simple switch to switch one antenna from CB to FRG-7. Or just move the antenna plug. CBs and FRG's have PL-239 connectors in the back of them. It can't take too much time to unscrew the plug, move it from one radio to the next. It would save a lot of energy dealing with triplexers.
