If you're asking about Military Air in North Carolina, it depends where you are located. If you're in the eastern part of the state you should easily hear traffic from Cherry Point along with Pope and Shaw AFB. There are also the bomb ranges in Dare County used by Navy and Air Force aircraft from all over the mid-Atlantic area. Even the fighter traffic from Langley operating offshore in the military restricted areas like W-386 should be easily heard from that area. You should also be able to monitor the ARTCC UHF frequencies for parts of both Washington and Atlanta Centers for military aircraft flying through the area. So, yes, there is plenty to hear in NC.
