First off this doesnt pertain to omuch to scanning. Though I do scan while watching my camera.
I have a problem here. I live one door down and across the hal from a drug dealer. How do I know he is a dealer. Well simple really. He used to deal in the hallway. I told him to stop or I would put up a camera.
He didnt stop. I got permission from the local Sheriff to put up a camera along with the permission of the apartment property managment.
Well I have litterly 3 gigbytes of still images per day of people comming and going from thier apartment. My camera only takes snapshots on movement so you can imagine how much movement they must have in and out in a 24 hour period for a simple snapshot to make up 3 gigabytes a day.
I have given these images to the narcotics unit of the local sheriff. It took quite a few CD's but I got em all to them. Now I dod the same for the apartment managment.
Mind you all of this has been at my expense. One camera has been stolen (So this one I put in a security box, Still need to make a better one.) ad this current one is well protected (I hope).
My main question here is.
What more can I do. After nearly a year of this they are stil dealing drugs. I have text files full of descriptions and plate numbers from the people buying from them along with the photo evidence. And yet nothing has been done. They continue to sell drugs with impunity and it is really startingto get to me. I have to struggle daily to make a living and they dont even work (are on welfare) and make easily 10 times more than me selling these drugs.
What more can I do to get these people taken outta of my building?
I guess this turned into more of a rant. But as always any and all help is apreciated here.
Oh and if anyone has any extra security cameras lying around I would be happy to take em off your hands. A nice vandel proor camera would be nice.
