I think that's for conventional digital only, not trunktracked... If that's the case it's of no use on MPSCS.

Not when it reads the NAC and talkgroup - it's a very interesting development. It looks a little like it's a Trunker-type utility, which should make it very useful, particularly on an unknown system. Now whether it will handle the new 380 Mhz trunks, that's another matter....73s Mike

The NAC and Talkgroup numbers are typically in the low speed data portion of the Voice transmission on P25 CAI channels.

I used to have the 1500i version and had the trunking package in the late 90's. It would track analog Motorola 3600 baud and MPT-1327, but not 9600 baud systems, but Trunker worked much better.

The PCR-2500 will decode P25 with the add on UT-122 module and display the talkgroups AND individual radio id's in use. I don't think they have the NAC decoder built in yet, but you can use an external program that Rick (UniTrunker) wrote called, the kNACk, and trunk scan with the TrunkPSR program.

EDIT: I just read that the PCR-2500 will decode NAC as well.
