Any new info regarding Oakland County's pending transition to MPSCS P25? I know there's been a lot of other priorities for money in Oakland County last year and this year. Are they still planning or at least considering a transition from MACOM/OpenSky to Motorola P25?

My guess is that sites might start going online near the end of this year.

However, many other users will be on the sites, that are not encrypted.
Phase 1 or 2?
The word on the street is full time AES + Phase 2. Still an open question on roaming from outside agencies and roaming to surrounding sites.

Most of that was going to be spent on any system used to replace that abysmal "OpenSky" setup. The part I wonder about is the money for enabling the emergency button, when that is already in the APX radios. (I'm guessing it is a key for the GPS data to be sent.)
Haven't seen this document posted here yet. It's 2 years old but gives a nice insight to number of sites you will have and type of equipment used. Almost all radios equipped with AES.
