Neither Uniden Nor Whistler announce new products before they hit the market.any word on new scanner(s) coming to the market?
Can you please cite an official company announcement, or is this just more pointless speculation? There has been talk
There has been talk of Unication coming out with a scanner.
Put me on the waiting list, prepaid. Can you please cite an official company announcement, or is this just more pointless speculation?

OK, so pure speculation then. Got it!It is a comment in the Unication forum
I think this was the announcement from Unification regarding beta testing of firmware that has some scanner features. At least that's what I thought it was.Can you please cite an official company announcement, or is this just more pointless speculation?

Sounds like your search Fu is weak and you couldn't find the comment.OK, so pure speculation then. Got it!
There is a comment in a thread about a conversation with a Unication Rep. But the thread is long and about something else related to Unication.I think this was the announcement from Unification regarding beta testing of firmware that has some scanner features. At least that's what I thought it was.
Unication G-Series Voice Pager with Digital Trunked Scanner Feature
Hello guys, I'm Steve from Unication. Yes, the Trunking Free Scan feature of G-Series Voice Pager is going to be in the Beta Test stage. We're looking for G-Series Voice Pager customers who are interested in participating in a one-month Beta Testing trial of the Trunking Free Scan feature...forums.radioreference.com
No no, please doc... say it ain't true, hey we have to hold on to some kind of hope. It Is 2020 after all.OK, so pure speculation then. Got it!
If there was a sizable market for scanners internationally, I might agree. They are a niche market product with (I suspect) a declining demand in the U.S. and are illegal to have/use in a fair number of countries.Wouldn't be surprised if a Chinese SDR handheld scanner with a name I've of never heard of appeared next.
All I can say is that this is the third or fourth time this question has been asked in the recent past.... Posting And You...Howdy:
