Any radio shops hiring in MA?

I'm lookin for a radio company thats hiring in MA. Hopefully it's one near Marlboro MA or in the surrounding area. Looking at possible career choices.

What's your level of experience?

I haven't lived in the area in a while, but MHQ on Route 20 in Marlborough was one of the go-to places for vehicle outfitting. They even did internships at one point.

My agency also used a place called Adamson's, right off 495 somewhere up north, I forgot the exact town. Super nice people there and a nice DD within walking distance for when I was waiting for something simple to be fixed on a cruiser.

If you are willing to relocate my agency has a number of positions open with up to 25 more coming up in the next few years as we implement Positive Train Control. Our area encompasses from New Haven to NYC, Poughkeepsi to NYC and Wassaic to NYC.

Must have GROL, should have practicle 2-way radio knowledge including tone remote control, antenna design, Cat-5 networking and be proficient with the Microsoft operating system and office suite. Will have to pass in house written test and practicle. Starting pay is around 62K, up to 82K in 7 years, plus I suspect that the PTC division is going to have lots of overtime.

And BTW free travel on all MTA RR lines for your comuting. Even got to ride Boston's MTA and Metro for free the last time I was up there.

Try contacting Applied Communications in Northborough. I interviewed there once for an entry level position, met the owner who was a great guy. Ultimately passed up the job but they do installs and maintenance on a large radio system.
