Any real experiences bring a Uniden scanner on NCL (Sky).

Well, I got a good deal on the NCL Sky out of Miami going to the Panama Canal. I'm thinking about bring the scanner (Uniden SDS100 and/or BCD436) in my carry on to listen on the ship only.
I am wondering what, if any, experiences people have had on NCL. I know Carnival was not a problem at all, not even a question or "let me see that item".
It's not on the Prohibited Items list:

Attached are the frequencies I dug up for NCL. I will scan them as a conventional frequency and as DMR (color code search).
If anyone has other suggestions do let me know soon. I am headed out tomorrow.

I’m am anchored today with 2 other ships nearby. The Carnival Sunrise and the NCL Prima.
Sunrise has TGs in the 500 series with 502 sounding like tender ops to bridge and 503 for security.
Nothing from the Prima yet.
For the Sky the TGs are in the 3000 series. Only one was in a foreign language, 3005. English on 3002, 3003, and 3008 with the latter being tender ops to bridge.

Something much easier to use would be a cheap laptop running DSDPlus Fastlane with an Sdr dongle.

The Sky is the 500 series. The other belong to the other 4 ships in port that day

if you can get closer on the EYY lable - google may help
but it does look like a VHF direction finding antenna

I’ll add from todays anchoring in Gatun lake in the Panama Canal that TG 506 is used for anchor watch. Apparently when too much tension is applied in a certain direction the bridge needs to relieve that by applying power in the opposite direction.

This is odd. The person said they were getting on a cruise in February.
But if they did confiscate it, what was the reason?
Do you have an amateur radio license?
Which port were you leaving out of?
Presume they said it will be returned upon disembarkation?

Since many ships/lines ban Amateur Radios - having a license would have ZERO positive impact, especially since you are
now under the jurisdiction of a foreign country, as the ship is registered there.
