I'm looking to get my Icom Z1A HH checked out and the mod(s) done for extended TX/TX (diode work). Some satellites I'm trying to work have their uplink freqs outside the TX range of this rig. I have other radios I could use but this is more of a sentimental thing as I've had this radio for some time.

I'm suspecting that ICOM proper wouldn't be open to this mod work...any good radio shops out there that can be recommended?

Thanks!

Still looking...Matt's not able to work on legacy Icom equipment per Icom. Will keep looking.

Did you call?

Because some OEM replacement parts are no longer available, some older ICOM products are no longer serviced. Please call if you have any questions about available service of any ICOM product.
