Any software to control the scanner in records too
I was broadcasting my local PD on Zello and apparently they’re going deleting the app now what can I do for listening purposes? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Have no idea what your saying or asking but depending on what scanner you have, @ProScan software should work.

If you're a broadcaster then look at Brodcastify. Broadcastify Administration

You mention Zello. I only used TeamSpeak. TeamSpeak does a have their smartphone App. I did not port forward though. I used ZeroTier which is like a reverse VPN. ZeroTier is also cross platform.

If you also want to control the software you can use Proscan. Then install Tight or Ultra VNC. Now using ZeroTier you can port in with a phone or tablet using a VNC App.

ZeroTier is the conduit of which allows TeamSpeak or VNC to pass to your home in a secure fashion without port forwarding. Well, so long as ZeroTier maintains server security...

Thank you so much for helping me out. A lot of people don’t understand Zello is the one I used to use to listen to my scanner.

A lot of people don’t understand Zello is the one I used to use to listen to my scanner.

What do you have the app installed on? Droid or IOS?

Why not just update what your using and continue using it?

I use iOS and I use a Dell laptop with an input for my feed to Zello using the laptop Zello desktop

You are correct. Zello is discontinuing support for the legacy PC application, but I have a similar setup to listen to my scanners through Zello. I use the MSI App Player. It is an emulator for using Android apps on Windows operating systems. You can try this and run the Zello app on your laptop. It will essentially be the same setup you have now, but it will be through the emulator. It is a less technical alternative. Just make sure you check the audio input in the emulator device setup, and adjust your VOX settings in Zello. Hope this helps.
