hello everyone, im in the market for my first scanner but im some what overwhelmed with all the selections out there and the feature available (trunking, double trunking, digital, etc. ). I dont want to buy an expensive model that has a lot of features that are of no use to me or in my area, nor do i want to buy an inexpensive model that doesnt have the features i need in my area. I know that i definetly want a handheld unit, as i am going to take it with me on the road. Here is the information on what im looking to scan and the area ill be scanning in: i am mainly looking to scan local p.d's, chp, ems, sherrif, and fire, the area where i would be scanning from is mainly out of Watsonville, CA. which is santa cruz county, however im a delivery driver and every day im in a different city within a 30 mile radius, those cities being; santa cruz, boulder creek, and scotts valley also in santa cruz county; hollister in San Benito County; gilroy, morgan hill, in santa clara county; and salinas, monterey, carmel in monterey county. Any suggestion would be very appreciated. Thanks !!
