How many of you have tube type HF receivers? I used to have a National NC-240d, wish I still did.
If you do have a tube receiver post a pic or two.

I think my tag line says it all. I have a collection of antique radios numbering around 50 or so, including a pristine BC-342Q, several BC-348's, and the 342's very rare low frequency cousin, the BC-344. The house here is a veritable antique radio museum.

Hi Jack! So what's wrong with a little tuber humor? Never mind Kohl Rabbi or Sput Nick, my first real SW receiver was a National Radio NC-173 and in case you're interested it WAS a raft radio. Look up Tor Heyerdahl and the Kon Tiki Expedition and here my friend and fellow Amateur Arnie will get you started.
