I have the UBCD3600XLT, which I believe is the european version
of the BCD436HP.
In the following when I refer to the 'full' DMR display I mean
Net/Site/TG & User ID.
1. If you rename the Custom Search Range - which the software
allows you to do - then, when searching, the 'full' DMR display
stops working and you just get the Colour Code and Slot.
Leave it as the default name (Custom n) and it works just fine.
2. Auto Store in Discovery Mode. According to the manual this
should create a System called "Conventional Discovery". It
actually generates a Favourites List called "Conventional Discovery".
Below this you get a System with the same name that you gave
the Discovery Mode session. Below that are Departments named after
each session run. So far so good. However none of the hit
frequencies are stored in the Departments so you can't then
scan them.
It is dissappointing that you don't appear to see the 'full'
DMR display in Close Call and when scanning conventional
channels.
This could be 'finger trouble' on my part of course ;-)
Is the above the same on the BDC436HP?
