Can you suggest the best place to download upgrade firmware from Please ?
Upgrading the firmware in Australia has been quite hit-or-miss. The AU team have a highly delayed process to review firmware before making it available for the version of the USDS Sentinel app that you need to use.
That's the other thing, make sure you download the version of Sentinel that works with the USDS variation of the devices, otherwise I think you'll run into problems.
Regarding the upgrades for unlocking various features, I didn't have any issues with that, but, it was several years ago that I did it. I do recall I had to use the
Home site (it had a different URL then, but, that seems to be where it is now).
The USDS version of Sentinel seemed to stop at version 2.0.5, which is what I have been using. I have not tried the non USDS version 3.x to see if that works.
As for the serial number, can't help you, as I am pretty sure I went with what the screen said and it worked. The Uniden Australia people did answer my support questions years ago, but, it took several days. Good luck!
