Anybody Listen to Bay County ?

I got a new Pro-164 for Christmas and have been happily listening to it but have found a talk group not in the database of 43184. i looked around it and it was near public works TGs but the Bay county FD is using it. I heard them say go to tac and then they ask about where they left there pole saw lol and that EMS had recovered it.

Anybody else got anything on it ?

I live in Bay County (Panama City). I've been updating the DB I have tons of Talkgroups not sure who they are.

Good to know im not the only one on here scanning this county... That is the only one i have found so far but i have only been at this about two weeks now so i'm sure ill find plenty more.

bravo care to Post some of the other TGs you have so i can be on the look out ?

I listen to the BC system when I visit down there. Although I have never had any personal contact with any of the Emergency Services, they all sound like very professional ladies and gentlemen.

Since Bay County is an analog type II Motorola system, talkgroup 00055 would not be a patched talkgroup. Instead, 2 talkgroups are being operated in multiselect mode (talkgroup 00048, with a status bit variation of +7).

When the dispatcher keys up in multiselect mode, he / she will be heard on both talkgroups. When mobile radios key up, they will only be heard by other units on their specific talkgroup. They will not be heard by mobile units on the other talkgroup.
