anybody up for some searching...?

Was reading the post about the 151 - 160 frequencies, and decided to do some searching for AACo. I came upon a "fairly old" list of some frequencies, and was wondering if anyone knows if these are still in use, and if so, who uses them now.
**NOTE: the decriptions listed next to each frequency is what it was labeled as**

I can tell you these all still work State Wide...sortof. Some counties are on their respective county trunked system, so you won't hear much...but even some counties that are patched you will hear some on this. The Brk to Brk channel doesn't get much use on the shore. I know around the millenium, they tested this freq everyday, as a back up communications in case the phones went dead from Y2K. The Nat police freq, they use sometimes for special events ect.

I'll give it a shot...

The Naval Academy freqs have been silent for the year I've had them programmed so I guess we can assume they are no longer used.

The freqs for AA County and Annapolis apparently are no longer used since they have been silent.

159.21 and 156.21 are assigned to Kent County (MD) police. 159.21 is in constant use with Dispatch referred to as "Central."

159.45 is Statewide Department of Natural Resources Police. I've recently been monitoring a police function on that freq by DNR officers in Charles County. Dispatch refers to them as Charles4143 etc..

The 155.19/155.475/155.73 are assigned county by county with different callsigns to the MSP. All counties are listed for the first two freqs and all but a couple for the 155.73 freq in the FCC database. The Glen Burnie MSP barrack makes extensive use of the 155.73 freq because cars seem to get out of range on the 39.04 freq within a fairly short distance from the base station.

Just FYI,

The 155.730 frequency is for Mobile Repeaters/Extenders for MSP. PL tone varies from county to county

I haven't heard much on the freqs listed here for AACo in quite some time. Same thing goes for the Annapolis freqs; they can be heard much more easily on the AA county trunk. But that doesn't mean they have totally turned them off....I'll have to stick them in a bank and scan them. I have my doubts about those 154 Mhz freqs associated with MSP, too.

NINN27, I overlooked one of the freqs on your list. Frequency 154.80 is licensed to the state of Maryland, Department of General Services. It's for Buildings and Grounds and located in Annapolis. I'm not quite sure what they do on this freq. I often hear the dispatcher making a comm check with all the units - and there are lots of them. I heard someone reporting how many cars were in each of several parking lots and the count included how many were state owned cars. Their callsign also links to 155.775 mHz in the FCC database.
