Hello, I want to be able to listen to a radio frequeny but I am new as too how all of this works. I want to get this frequency but not too sure as too how. You need to provide better details before anyone can help you. Since your link points to the online Broadcastify App. Are you wanting to monitor this over a scanner radio? If so, which model of scanner is it?

For future reference it is not a frequency per se. You will need to program in the frequencies and monitor Ohio MARCS sites in and around Allen County. Then program in the talkgroup for that particular agency. All of the information for that can be found in the database on this site.

Judging by the link you posted you want to listen to something that is on the Ohio MARCS network. At a minimum you'll need a digital scanner that is capable of receiving p25 phase 1. That system looks to be phase 2 capable and maybe someone local can say if they know of any plans in the near future for that to happen. Any of these will work for phase 1.

If you want to future proof it a bit you'll have to spend a little more money on one that can do phase 2 which are also listed on that page.

If you're looking in the used market a radio shack pro 197 / 106, gre psr 500 / 600, or a Uniden bcd996xt or 396xt will also work. Naturally those are older and phase 1 only radios.

Others worth mentioning that aren't uniden or whistler, are the Bluetail Technologies P25RX and Unication receivers.
