I am hearing plane come up on the air and id as cactus, what airline is this???

CACTI is common enough for milair in the USA but I can only think of one user of CACTUS for 'military' in the USA

(as an aside, CACTUS is used by RAF Lossiemouth based aircraft here in the UK)

Most likely American Eagle, they use the callsign "Eagle Flight" and sometimes just "Eagle"

Confirmed, cactus is America West. Still not all integrated as US air

These names stem from where their base of operations is at. I assume America West is based in Phoenix or Las Vegas? Air Tran uses the callsign Citrus as their base of operations is in Florida. Ex: " Citrus 847" is Air Tran Flight 847.

more specifically Orlando, Orange County, Fla.
