Anyone Familiar w/ Ameco Aerotron Scan-Comm

I’m pretty sure it came out of a cop car. I was curious about getting it to where I can actually hear some traffic bc I’m currently not hearing squat on any of the channels! Sorry it site wouldn’t let me share picture said file was 2 big iCloud

Looks like a mid-70's 8 channel crystal controlled scanner. See if there is a small door on the top or side. If not, cracking the case open will likely reveal crystals, which might help identifying which type of crystal is used.

Aerotron was a big name in commercial communications receivers in the sixties. I wonder if it's the same company.
