Alinco: Anyone have experience with alinco dr135t

Was setting up last night with my Alinco and per the manual after saving my frequencies I wanted to put in the tags but when I went into menu that step was non existent.
Step before it was, the step after was there but the (A) didnt come up.
Any clue what's up there?

I'm not sure exactly what you're describing, but when I go into set on my Alinco DJ -VX50, CHNAME always shows up, but alpha-numerics to display won't unless I enter setup in memory mode. Maybe your going into set while in VFO mode?
