Anyone in Sacramento Area have the ability to Program a /\/\otorola MCX 1000?

I just got one at a hamfest and i have no way of programming it. If you do, please PM me.

Sorry, but I do not know of anyone.

Did you attend the Hamfest at Mira Loma High School in the Fair Oaks/Orangevale area?

I forgot about it and am hoping some of our Sac Metro's CERT ART and the Sac Regional CERT's ART members made it out.

Was it quite large? I am hoping to squeeze into my schedule an opportunity to learn and earn my Ham Tech license.

So much to do and so little time!

what does the plug look like on that radio? I have many different motorola rib cables.

Make sure its a 286 or 386-25 old dinosaur with Dos 6. You can get the cable schematics off of batlabs.

my radio pc is a 486 and it works fine, I use it to program Kenwood mobiles too.
