Anyone in sacramento got their 996 going ?

I got my 996 today and it sounds great -

i think this is probably the best scanner ever made

the new sac system sounds great and when they have digital going on some of the talkgroups the little P25 lights up - and i notice it also says LNK usually at the end of the transmission

the sleek din type case looks like it will fit great into my escalade -right below the xm-radio

anybody else enjoying this ?

oh also if you have a 330 or a 396 currently going - save the files and import them into your 996 software it will save you a lot of time

Yup yup, there are a handful of us with 396T.... I'm anxious for the 996

Nice looking. I think I'm going to pass for right now, as I have both a Pro-96 and -2096, and frankly, owe too much on credit cards already.

I got my 996 last week. Father's day present to myself

I got a bunch of files (Public Safety only) for the following counties if anyone is interested.

Marin, San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Sacramento, Solano, Yolo, Sutter, Yuba, Nevada, Placer, El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne and Mariposa.
