Post pics of your sdrtrunk settings for the system. If you set it up as phase 2, I believe it wont work. I set mine up as phase 1 and I receive Port Chester just fine on Zone 1 and, when I can lock on, Zone 3, I am on Long Island.

It looks like your trying the Zone 1 Nassau site. I am very close to Nassau so I get it fine. You want the same setup but with the freqs for the site nearest to, which would be Zone 3 Westchester. You could most likely stop the tuner, then change the Zone 1 freqs to the Zone 3 freqs shown below.

The name of your alias list is Port Chester pd. Is it safe to assume that Port Chester tg's are the only tg's in the alias list?

If its just saying idle then you are not receiving the control channel. Post new pics of your set up with the tuners tab also.

You did change to freqs to reflect Zone 3, right?

You should bump up the Master (gain) until you see the signal rise above the noise floor. Are you trying to do 2 systems with the same dongle?

Easiest way I found to have 1 dongle per system is to set auto start on each system.

I have two dongles because i thought I needed it to get port chester. I max out on gain at 42.

Oh, I see those are E400 dongles. I have never used those. I can R820 up to 495.

That dongle most ikely maxes out at 2.56. You would need to to cover 3.12. But either way you do not seem to be getting a signal on the control channel. You should still show signal on that.

I would stop the tuner and then go into the tuner tab and manually tune to the active cc of 769.90625 and watch the spectrum and see if you can get the signal better like shown below where I am using 770.90625.

What are you using for antenna?

im using a small whip antenna on a magnetic base. The PD station is a few blocks away and im also able to listen to long island and northern westchester. Im going to try and change the control freq.

I thought the SDR would scan thru those listed?
