I heard they sometimes use the town frequency of 37.28 but I'm unsure what they actually use. I wasn't able to get a pl on the 37.28 freq...What freq. do paw paw use.....

radiolistener,

You do understand that you *do not* need a PL tone in order to listen to a transmission, correct? There are several radios on the market that will decode a PL tone for you ....

yes I understand I don't need a pl to scan , but with a pl I wouldn't hear bleed over or other RF interference..Not trying to cause problems just asking for reference ONLY!!!!

I hear ya...the WVSP lowband at my house gets interference from computers and other things so I use the PL to get rid of that and still be able to leave all the channels unlocked.
